Most families piece it together. One service for care, a website for senior living, a contractor someone recommended, a stack of paperwork after a loss. You end up retelling the same story over and over, often from another city, while also working and raising a family.
The house is usually the biggest decision in the middle of it all, and it is the piece most services leave out. Kinhaven does the organizing for you and keeps everything in one plan so your family can make calm, informed choices.
Pick the Monthly Guidance plan or a one-time package, then answer a guided intake about your loved one, their home, and what is worrying you.
Kinhaven builds a plan with prioritized next steps, organized checklists, and drafted letters and forms, so everyone knows what comes first.
You get deadline reminders and weekly family update emails, plus guidance on which licensed professionals to contact, and an optional introduction to a licensed real estate agent.
Start wherever you are. Your file carries forward, so you never have to start over.

Getting matched with a real estate agent is free to your family. If you request a referral, we'll review your request and follow up, and we introduce you to a licensed agent only with your consent. Kinhaven may receive a referral fee from the agent's brokerage, and it never changes your price. You are never required to use any agent we suggest.
Stage 5
Try a sample of what a paid plan does. These printable checklists and planners stay in your browser. When you want the full, personalized version done for you, choose a plan.
Kinhaven LLC is built by experienced real estate and appraisal management professionals. That background centers on homes, valuation, and keeping complex processes on track.
Kinhaven is an AI-guided, done-for-you service that handles the organizing: plans, checklists, drafted letters and forms, reminders, and family updates. It treats the home as part of the whole picture rather than an afterthought. Kinhaven does not provide real estate brokerage services.
Selling a loved one's home or buying a smaller or more accessible one? After the Medicaid, reverse mortgage, power of attorney, deed and title, and insurance checks, we can match you with a local agent experienced with seniors and estates who can price the home to fair market value, coordinate with the executor or attorney, and help you decide whether to sell as-is or with repairs.
Free to your family, in any state. We'll review your request and follow up. See the referral disclosure at the bottom of this page.
Kinhaven is for families helping an aging parent, grandparent, other relative, spouse, or friend, whether you live nearby or in another state. Siblings can all receive the same weekly family update email.
After you choose a plan and complete intake, you receive a personalized plan, organized checklists, drafted letters and forms, deadline reminders, and weekly family update emails. When a decision needs a licensed professional, we list who to contact and questions to ask. On request we can introduce you to a licensed real estate agent.

No. Kinhaven is not a care management or staffing service. It does the organizing and drafting for you, and guides you on which licensed professionals to contact. On request we can introduce you to a licensed real estate agent.
A Monthly Guidance plan at $29 per month; one-time packages for Home Safety ($49), Downsizing ($99), Care Options ($79), and Estate Task ($129); and a Complete Transition Bundle of all four packages for $249. Launch pricing is shown on the Plans page before you pay.
When plans open, what you paid for one-time plans will be credited toward the $249 Complete Transition Bundle. If you already have all four, there is nothing more to buy.
The free tools are samples. They show the kind of checklists and planners a paid plan builds, but a paid plan is personalized to your family and adds drafted letters and forms, deadline reminders, and weekly family update emails.
No. Many families are in more than one stage at once. The intake helps sort out what comes first.
Plans are not open yet. Once they are, you will be able to cancel Monthly Guidance any time online, with no fee, and you will not be charged again.
Plans are not open yet, so there are no charges today. Once they open, email hello@getkinhaven.com with any question about a charge. Full refund on request within 7 days of purchase unless you have downloaded or printed your plan or letters. After that, we review requests case by case. A full refund ends access to that plan, a partial refund keeps access, and your saved checklist and data download stay available either way. Details are in our terms.
No. Kinhaven organizes and explains options, and guides you on which licensed professionals to contact, such as attorneys, care managers, tax advisors, and lenders. On request we can introduce you to a licensed real estate agent.

Free placement services are generally paid by the communities or agencies they refer families to. Care managers are paid by the family, usually by the hour. Kinhaven is paid by the family for a plan. See who pays whom.
Kinhaven does not accept referral fees or sponsorship from providers that bill Medicare or Medicaid, such as nursing homes, home health agencies, or hospices. Any paid listing is marked Sponsored and never changes the options we show. The optional real estate agent introduction is disclosed before you agree to anything. See how partnerships work.
Yes. Kinhaven works for families anywhere in the United States, including when you and your loved one live in different states. Rules for probate, Medicaid and other care programs, and facility licensing vary by state, so your plan points you to the right state and county offices and to professionals licensed where your loved one lives.
Choose the stage that feels most urgent. Home Safety is for staying safely at home, including after a fall. Downsizing is for right-sizing to a smaller home or selling one. Care Options is for comparing in-home help and care communities. Estate Task is for the weeks after a loss. If several apply, Monthly Guidance covers all of them while you subscribe, and the Complete Transition Bundle covers all four with a one-time charge.
If they are hurt, cannot get up, hit their head, or seem confused, call 911 now. Kinhaven is for the days and weeks ahead, not emergencies. Once everyone is safe, the free Home Safety Checklist or the Home Safety Plan can help you plan the next steps, and their doctor can talk with you about fall risk.
Kinhaven does not assign a person to your family. You can email hello@getkinhaven.com with questions. If you request an agent match, we'll review your request and follow up.

Yes. Nieces, nephews, spouses, friends, and other relatives use Kinhaven. Some steps, such as talking with a bank or doctor on their behalf, may need their written permission or legal authority. An elder law attorney licensed in their state can explain what applies.
Our free scam protection guide covers common scams, a phone scam guide with a printable card for next to the phone, and steps to take right away if you think a scam happened. Each paid plan also includes the scam checks that fit its stage.
A few common ones: a power of attorney ends at death, family usually should not pay a loved one's debts from their own money, Medicare rehab coverage can depend on inpatient versus observation status, and a nursing home generally cannot require family to guarantee payment. See the easy-to-miss lists on after a loss, care options, and the family home, and ask an elder law attorney or CPA what applies.
That is common. You can invite family members to view the same plan and weekly update, so everyone works from the same facts. Each plan includes a family conversation step, and your loved one should lead decisions about their own life whenever possible.
The fastest path is to choose a plan. If you have a question first, share a few details and we will reply by email.
